I have seen that FreeHostingCloud Is Offering Professional Services for Free... Many Users Come and Register and Then They Leave ... Ever Wonder Why?

I have seen Other Posts... Moderators have been repling that it was a Database Error... Well For me its not. I have the Skill to fix any Mysql Errors but i realized that its the Server Not Responding Or The Bandwith is limited Which is what i personally think.

To Admins / Mods : I Recommend Getting More BandWith as Now and Then Websites Go Offline.... I Sent you Guys 3 Support Tickets Now... I have Run Out Of Patience So i have to get the message to you before many people Leave....

Filemanager error fileupload reason file is 0 bytes

Hi,

i can't upload a file anymore because i always get the error that the file is 0bytes , tough the file is not 0 bytes on my pc.

What's going on ?

Already found the problem.

FHC is out of HDD space

hi, i have a custom domain elvin.info, i have created a sub-domain blog.elvin.info using the Interworx control panel, it created the necessary folders and a records but it's still not showing online... Did i miss out sumthing or is there another way to configure it?

Hey there,

I'm using the Wordpress Program on my website which is hosted by you. Until recently, I've not had any problems.

However, when I got on my website this morning, I saw that one of my plug-ins needed updating. Wordpress does the updating automatically, all I have to do is hit a button. The trouble is that when I went to update, I got an error message saying Wordpress couldn't create the directory.

This is what the error message said:

Could not create directory. /chroot/home/****/*****.freehostingcloud.com/html/wp-content/upgrade/rotate-text.tmp

When I did a google search, it said that I needed to change the permission on the upgrade folder. I've done this several times: changed permissions to 755, 766, 767, and 777. Nothing seems to be working.

I submitted a ticket to support but as of right now haven't received any reply.

I need to be able to update my site, if not, then I'd have to move servers.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Trying to upload something - not working

Hi,

I use (and have used for years) Filezilla to upload programs and other things for my website.

For the first time, this morning, something strange is happening.

1) I cannot create a new directory - the error is: No space left on the device.
2) I am trying to upload a photograph - at the start of the transfer, even if the file is a new file, it asks me if I want to replace the old one???? The old one (which cannot be there as I haven't actually transferred it yet) is 0 bytes and is placed there at the start of the transfer.

The only thing I can think of is that there is something wrong at the server end.

Does anyone know of any problems?

Hello everyone! I am currently a college student working on my associate of science degree in web design. While I haven't actually started any of the IT classes yet, still working on general ed stuff like english and science, I have started working on different tutorials available to me on my school's website. I'm starting a free webpage as a place to test out the stuff I am learning in my tutorials, which right now is basic html. I am still waiting for my site to be up and ready for me to use it. It's been telling me, "please allow 5 minutes for your account to be created" for the past hour. Anyways, I'm excited about what I'm learning and doing, and can't wait to get it out there on the web so I can share my progress with friends and family.

I have only used 211.6Mb and now when I ftp an additional file I get, "452 Transfer aborted. No space left on device". The only way I can upload a new file is to delete an old one, and this keeps happening.

Whether I try to send over files via ftp, upload them thru file manager or edit them directly in file manager: I end up with files of size 0. That's pretty weird. Anyone any idea what the cause is or how to fix ?

I am unable to send an activation or newsletter from my SMF forum. I can send an email using FreeHostingCloud SMTP Test and I can send an email from the address i created but nothing leaves the forum.

This is your FULL server path to (and including) the "mp3" folder. WITH trailing slash. If you are unsure what your server path is, contact your host. Examples:

/home/server/mp3/
/home/server/yoursite.com/mp3/
D:\ (Windows)

file folder mp3 has to be off of the root as this is a store.
the actual script is located at crossfiregameing.com/Music

wtf do they mean by home/server/mp3
or the next and the D:\(windows I am not understanding)
I have installed a lot of scripts and got them to work over the course of a lot of years plus built everything from the gaming clan website on the front page of this URL to actual web radio stations for people. I have written scripts with less trouble than trying to figure out WTF this guy is looking for here.

I don't know if I am posting in the right forum, but I am trying to use the php mail() function and it is not working. I am wondering if I need to set something up within FHC so emails to send, but I can't find any help at all through their knowedge base. This is the second time in almost as many weeks that this host has died. Anyone know why these issues are occuring or if there is a workaround?

trouble with CGI / Perl

Hi all, I'm new to this site and having trouble getting my old cgi files running. I put them in the cgi-bin directory and changed all the permissions to rwx (for both the directory and the file), but I get an Internal Service Error when I go to the URL:

http://www..freehostingcloud.c...le>.cgi

In fact, I can't even open a text file when it's in the CGI directory.

I tried changing the URL path to html/cgi-bin but then it says Not Found.

Maybe I have the pathway to Perl wrong in my CGI files (#!/usr/bin/perl)? But that wouldn't explain why I can't even view a text file on my site when it's in that directory...

Any ideas? Thanks!

[Noob] Sending mails with PHP

Hi everyone,

I'm still doing my first steps with html/php, and I've found this mail() function for php, which seems to be what I need to simply send an email to any address.

Here's the line in my script : mail('crupu@yopmail.com', 'test', 'hello');

There is no error in my page, however no mail is sent. I guess my problem is related to the mails server, but I have completely no idea what I need to do or configure (I also lack knowledge with how mails work). I randomly googl'ed stuff, eventually they talk about configuring the PHP but here I'm not owning the server or can't do anything with that.
