When I tried to make a support ticket trying to get my files back, I was THEN notified via email that my ticket could not be opened because I had to pay to become a "premium" member for this feature.<br />
<br />
This is ridiculous. I did not even receive an email saying that I owed money or that my account was on the verge of suspension.<br />
<br />
The support here is completely terrible as well as the service.<br />
<br />
Do NOT use this site for hosting, if you are considering. I am HIGHLY disappointed with this site and would not recommend it to ANYBODY.<br />

I am just now seeing invoices and charges since I was using it as a collection site for personal things (hence the free hosting). Well, now I cannot do anything until I pay, which I refuse to pay, since I was under the impression that it was supposed to be free. Nice bait and switch there. I want to close the account and be done, but I see that not even that is possible. Is this the normal way of operations? Will I need to file several reports on several reputable sites of a scam that is going on here?]]></description>

Ultimately we'd like to transfer the domain to a different registrar since this service is being discontinued. Can anyone please help us get the domain transferred away? We did upgrade to the premium account option if this makes any difference whatsoever.<br />

I need to gain access somehow to the FTP So I can backup and save my entire website layout and folders to my desktop just incase I go past the 14 days. I do not have my site saved to my desktop due to a harddrive crash and I have been trying to get access to FTP long enough to save everything Please help. Thank you.<br />

After nearly 4 years of providing free hosting for well over 100,000 websites, unfortunately the time has come when we can no longer support and maintain the free hosting platform.<br />

Note that is does not affect premium hosting customers - there is no change here and your websites will continue to be hosted as usual.<br />

We have automatically upgraded all free hosting accounts to premium accounts.  This will generate an invoice for &#36;9.50 that will need to be paid within 14 days.  If you do not wish to continue using FreeHostingCloud to host your website, please ignore the invoice payment reminders.<br />

Otherwise, please take the necessary steps to prevent a suspension of your website. You will have 14 days to upgrade before your website is suspended, and eventually removed.<br />

Tech support here is by far the worst I've ever encountered. I've had many, many websites over the years, each one hosted at different webhosts, but NEVER have any of them waited 3 weeks to respond, or not respond at all.<br />

Lucky for me, I've found a similar host that charges half the amount for twice the services and very helpful, prompt tech support. And I will NOT be using Freehostingcloud again.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[I continually have problems accessing and navigating FileManager. It just stops responding. Then I can't even log out and I have no other alternative but to close out my browser. Yea, yea, I know that isn't the thing to do but nothing else works. I wait more than 25 minutes sometimes trying to open a file. Frequently I can't even access my website address.<br />

My old Unix days tells me closing a session without logging out leaves a process running on the server and that process will continue to run until an administrator "kills" it. So I would like to know if that is still the case? Does a session have a time to live (TTL) and time out? Could that be why I keep having trouble with file manager? Please don't tell me the reason is that the servers are busy or I will start to think these servers are running in someone's closet or basement <img src="images/smilies/confused.gif" style="vertical-align: middle;" border="0" alt="Confused" title="Confused" />]]></description>
